The mural is on the walls of a tunnel under Burnside Road on the Galloping Goose Trail in Cecelia Ravine Park. One wall is 136 by 21 feet and the other is 120 by 21 feet or over 5000 square feet in total.

In November 2005, the Burnside Gorge Community Association received a grant through the Community Public Art Program of the City of Victoria. Frank Lewis was commissioned to produce a mural showing scenes of the neighbourhood from its original people to those of today. Many volunteers took part in the creatiopn of the artwork.
