Jordan Fritz

Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Jordan Fritz and I am an artist residing on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada. My work is heavily influenced by the landscapes of Vancouver Island and Coastal Canada, and as a relative newcomer I must acknowIedge the Coast Salish, and Nuu-chah-nulth peoples of Vancouver Island and the Coastal Mainland as the original keepers, and stewards of this land. As much of my work is based in these places, It is my wish to share the stories of these lands, and capture the powerful emotions that I have felt while visiting these places, with the hope that I might inspire, you, my viewers to find your own meaningful connection with these lands.

For me, art itself is a process of discovery and healing. It doesn't come without its challenges, and it has not been a easy journey, but it is one that I believe is worthwhile. I hope that through following my own passion for sharing the beauty and stories I see, I can create important conversations, and bring joy to others lives through my art.

My medium of choice is acrylic paints on canvas, and I also love creating my own custom wood frames for my original paintings. Alongside my Art practice, I also work with my clients as a graphic designer, helping support their small businesses.
