Event Description

Ever wonder why Swallows build nests in the eves of houses? It's to listen to the stories!  This November Kaleidoscope invites you to experience the classic story like you have never before. Join Peter, Wendy, Captain Hook, and all of your favorite characters in a brand new adaptation inspired from the works of J.M. Barrie. PAN dares you to free your imagination and fly away on an epic adventure full of pirates, indians, lost boys, mermaids, and even a crocodile. Adventure awaits in Never Never Land where growing up is unheard of. Join Kaleidoscope as we ask: "Do you believe in Fairies?"

For over thirty-seven years Victoriaʼs Kaleidoscope Theatre has been the driving force behind Vancouver Islandʼs most beloved theatre experiences for young people and their families, reaching an audience of over 8,000 young people each year. For young artists, Kaleidoscope is a launching pad - providing professional support, training, and experiences to develop their vision and craft through various workshops, productions, and Performing Arts Studio classes.

Featuring the largest cast of the Victoria theatre season, Pan promises to let audience imagination to soar to new heights with thrilling flying sequences and projections by Miles Lowry and David Ferguson. Kaleidoscope's Pan is the theatre event of the year not to be missed.

“The best theatre in Canada is happening in young peopleʼs theatre. Itʼs the most original, most inventive, the freshest work being done. It communicates directly to all audiences and itʼs time Victoria public has a chance to see this work”. - Elizabeth Gorrie; Kaleidoscope Founding Artistic Director
