Wild trombonists Nick La Riviere and Jeff Agopsowicz team up for a reunion performance of Trombone Mayhem. Backed by Karel Roessingh (piano), Steve Wallace (bass), and Alex Campbell (drums), the band will perform twisted arrangements of jazz standards and originals. They love to play fast and exciting - defying the stereotype of trombone being a slow instrument. A highlight of the show is their version of the Buddy Rich Big Band’s West Side Story Suite. Between the 5 piece band, every note in the big band arrangement is covered, and it’s quite the epic chart. Trombone fan or not, you will be when this show is over!
