Out Of This World That’s our U-JAM Club Night theme for May. So many possibilities — space, stars, Mars, even the afterworld. It’s your call — as usual the theme is a suggestion but not a requirement. Universal Jazz Advocates And Mentors presents our monthly open mic night of singers and musicians sitting in with our wonderful house band. Wednesday, May 29th. Doors open 5:30 for dinner, music starts 7 pm. We are back at Hermann’s Jazz Club downstairs, 753 View Street. Cash only, pay at the door. Non-members: $15, U-JAM members/students: $10. Come on down and support the singers, musicians, U-JAM and Hermann’s (Canada’s oldest continually running jazz club). Have a good meal and enjoy the music and a good time.
