WomenCinemakers 2024, Biennale for women filmmakers and artists

WomenCinemakers is now accepting submissions from women filmmakers, directors and producers for its 2024 Biennial Edition.
You can enter in five categories:

• Independent Cinema
• Documentary
• Dance Video
• Performance
• Experimental cinema

In order to submit your work to WomenCinemakers please complete the following

before March 30th, 2024. You can fill out our submission form, or email us [[email protected]] your proposal including a link to your video and a short description of your film.

There are no application fees.

WomenCinemakers opens up a new space for women directors to share their powerful films and ideas, encourages and promotes a two-way exchange, offering a platform for filmmakers and critics to converge and discuss the becoming of the film industry.

Since 2012 WomenCinemakers has been actively promoting dialogue and fostering interaction between artists and their audience, offering significant support to artists and assisting in their establishment within the industry.

With a blend of newcomers and established directors, our anthology has featured more than 900 artists over the years, with many of them competing in international film festivals including the Cannes Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, and the Venice Biennale.
