GPAG is now accepting proposals to exhibit in 2025! Apply for the Main Gallery, Eve Smart Gallery, or both. We accept submissions from both emerging and established artists working in all mediums and styles. The submission deadline is March 31st, 2024.
The Gibsons Public Art Gallery is a professional exhibition space for contemporary artists located just a short 40 min. ferry ride from Vancouver, BC. We are a non-profit public arts organization situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish Nation). Much of our work takes place in the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the shíshálh (Sechelt Nation). GPAG's vision for the past 20 years has been to foster and promote artistic creativity and learning, while serving as a cultural centre that unites art and community.
On our website under ‘Submissions’ you can find our exhibition policy, submission guidelines and forms, and a sample artist-gallery contract. Before submitting your proposal please check the submission guidelines and requirements carefully. Submissions should be made digitally via Google Drive, DropBox, or USB thumb drive. Email a shared google drive link to [email protected]
or contact us and request a link be sent to you. Do not email us your actual submission material. Alternatively, mail us a USB thumb drive with your submission material (note: this will not be returned to you). Exhibitions are chosen by a jury comprised of artists, community members, and GPAG Directors. Artists will typically be notified of acceptance within three months of the submission deadline (March 31st). We look forward to seeing your work!
