sxʷeŋxʷəŋ təŋəxʷ James Bay Branch Library art installation "Drawing Branches." Completed during Luke Ramsey’s Artist in Residence program with the City of Victoria. In the summer and fall of 2018, Luke Ramsey hosted drop-in drawing sessions with local youth. Together they created drawings which took shape like branches on a tree. Within each shape is a collage selection of these drawings, best to be seen in person. Large collaborative print on the wall. Light box installation represents a collection of drawing gestures that creates the whole, and showcases the creativity and collaboration of youth in the community. Built and installed by SEEN Signs.
