CanUS | Traditional Jazz Matinee - Jun. 1, 2025

https://hermannsjazz.com/donate&stream

Well, friends and fans it gives me great pleasure to tell you Don Clark will be a guest of honour with CanUS for this show! It's been way too long since he has visited Victoria so let's welcome him as we get to listen to the music he creates on that trumpet! What a treat.
The joy of playing our unique traditional jazz that CanUS is known for is a pleasure for both the musicians and their audience! After years of touring and playing jazz festivals both in Canada and the U.S. The decision to only play locally was because Victoria was blessed with a top rated Jazz Club for 44 years non-stop with CanUS now in their 34th year. All 8 CanUS CD’s can be listened to on YouTube so you can hear why we got offered a concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Purchase your tickets and you can request seating location in the club. Simon Stribling Trumpet, Doug Rhodes alto sax, Al Pease clarinet/tenor sax, Lauri Lyster on drums with Joey Smith bass, Avram McCagherty banjo, and pianist Toni Blodgett. Hope you can join in on the fun.
