Fashion illustrator was my first career, then I taught Drawing at Sheridan College School of Visual Arts, Ontario..went back to university for my Arts & Archaeology majors, but left to become the Director of OAKVILLE GALLERIES a publicly funded Art Gallery. During this time I was experimenting with Enamelling materials, and got very involved in working on sheet steel. An opportunity to go offshore sailing put my art career on hold for 4 years till we reached BC (via Japan). Then we set up our workshops in Maple Bay BC and got back into production. I have been a Member of the Co-operative: Imagine That! Artisans Designs since 1996 and produce custom made enamels on special request. These include illustrations in enamel on glass vases, plates and journals. I love to make little magnets , pins and bookmarks, all inspired by the wildlife that surrounds us or in faraway places. If I can draw it, I can make it into an enamel piece on steel or on copper, which will last a lifetime. Just ask!
