James Kasper & Nobody Jones

James Kasper is a singer, songwriter, harmonica player, and guitarist from Victoria, BC. Between 1996 and 2000, Kasper was one half of the folk duo Kasper Veil, with whom he recorded 2 CDs and toured across Canada once. Kasper now fronts the band NOBODY JONES (www.geocities.com/kasper1970), who will release their debut record in 2004. Kasper will tour across Canada in the summer of 2004, to promote the new album. He is also founder of The Vancouver Island Music Awards (www.mpowerawards.com), host of The Live Cafe on CFUV 101.9FM Fridays @ 1pm, and host of two local open stages: Sundays @ The Spiral Cafe (7-9pm) and Tuesdays @ Pluto's (8-10pm).
