BIG JOHN BATES & The VOODOO DOLLZ are throwing a scorching hotrod burlesque rock 'n' roll blues party full of non-stop voodoo action with the help of upright bass spanker sCare-oline and the Voodoo Dollz dancers! Touring North America and Europe over the past year in support of their latest CD "Take Your Medicine", BJB and the Dollz just brought their "Carn-Evil and Sexy Side Show" to a sold out crowd at Whistler for New Year's Eve, as well as entertaining 4000 enthusiastic converts at the Northern Alberta Country Fair. Armed with their usual bag full of tricks as well as burlesque performers recruited from Sweet Soul, Cross'd Lovers and the Starlet Harlots all wrapped up and presented to you by Vancouver's reigning voodoo queen, Little Miss Risk, get ready to drink, dance and party!

LAND (formerly THE FILIGREES) - This 2 man blues-driven rock and roll band focuses on tightly-crafted feel good music, strongly rooted in the spontaneity of the jam.

Influenced by Neil Young, Kings of Leon and the Rolling Stones, the band's blues-rock sound has been favourably compared to the White Stripes and the Black Keys, and promises to blow the roof off with their original blend of rockin' bluegrass heart and soul. Their debut 10 song full length CD was recently recorded at Mushroom Studios and will be available soon.
