Upstairs Cabaret hosts a summer night of mayhem with live FUNK, REGGAE, SKA, LATIN, DANCEHALL and WORLD beats performed by independent local artists Rocky Mountain Rebel Music, Everybody Left and Trains in Europe and hosted by none other than Victoria's own Pocket Kings!

Did someone say dancehall funk reggae?! Oh snap... they must be talking about Victoria's 9-piece all night funky reggae party Rocky Mountain Rebel Music. Delivering mind-blowing live jams with the dirtiest, ronchiest, grooves to keep yer body movin' since their inception. RMRM never ceases to bring a creative, tailored set to each venue they play which means that if you've seen them once... you will never see the same show again. They got some tunes up here http://www.myspace.com/rockymountainrebelmusic

Not since gracing the stage at Monty's has 'Everybody Left' played a show in Victoria and what a show it was! This funky folk reggae coupled with hip hop is the most danceable toe-tapping tunage you ain't never heard! Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/everybodyleft

Trains in Europe (formerly The Aldermen) is a fast-paced in-your-face jungle jam-down with experimental sounds, mind-altering keys, steadfast drums and wailing guitar... just to skim the surface. This is just their 3rd performance in our fair city and they have an entire wardrobe full of tricks ready to be pulled out at this event!

The festivities start at 9pm and cost $10 flat... no added door charge cuz that's such BULL!
