TERRY GILESPIE "Canada's King Of Roots Music" - BIG MONEY TOUR 2011 w/ TERRY OWEN +
SANDY BONE + guests

TERRY GILLESPIE
"The highly regarded critic Tim Holek has called him Canada’s “King of Roots Music.” He has indeed been a bit of a Canadian blues legend for 40 years."-Mark E. Gallo- Blues Bytes
"Today their music is a sweet tiramisu consisting of liquor-soaked layers of Blues, Reggae, Country, and Jazz." - Richard Ludmerer, Vice President, New York Blues and Jazz Society
TERRY GILLESPIE one of the founding fathers of Canada s blues music and reggae scenes, draws the crowd to every setting or occasion. From sophisticated trio to stomping full band; from the Montreal Jazz Festival to small parties. A raw and sexy performer, he is both charismatic and soulful. His guitar is tasteful, his vocals beautifully phrased and he is backed by an energy of sound that pulls people off their chairs and onto the dance floor. Terry delivers a unique package of performances that is absolutely without pretense in different but related genres. He has united with very accomplished veterans of the music world, seasoned, masterful, accomplished in their own right to create two unique bands. Terry and his fellow musicians leave audiences chanting for more.

SANDY BONE
A long-time stalwart of the Canadian music scene. Playing and singing a repertoire, much of which is original composition, the strong influence of blues, his many years in music and countless miles on the road are felt immediately, with tastes of country, rockabilly, folk, cajun and rock & roll all making their voices heard in his heartfelt tales of life and death, women and whiskey, home fires and travel, love and heartbreak and of course, trains. With a brand new band full of the finest talent Vancouver has to offer and a brand new record in the works..... Make a point of checking him out next chance you get!
