Event Description

Paul Stewart:
Songwriting is, simply put, a craft. Those that are able to hone it with a fondness of region may choose to do so with humble gratefulness. Paul Stewart, who grew up in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, has known this without superseding it. He has whittled songs from a familiarity known to popular music, without sacrificing a single element of the rustic, gentlemanly songwriting traits Rocky Mountain House instilled in him.

Watermelon:
Off-kilter dispatches from the rainy shores of some february west coast beach. lee hazlewood smoking a hookah in the background. Electric guitars ripped raw through a shimmer-sheen of jangle. Hyperbole.

Koban:
Koban is a Vancouver based dark wave/post-punk duo backed by a drum machine, eerie guitar, repetition, et les paroles français.
