Event Description
SangGil Gu is the Organist at First Church of Oberlin and an Artist Diploma Student at Oberlin Conservatory. He is presently a student of James David Christie. Before coming to America, he was Organist and Music Director of Eun-Pyung First Presbyterian Church in Seoul, Korea, and a student of Tong-Soon Kwak. He is laureate of numerous prestigious awards for organ performance.
Composers on this program include: Nicolaus Bruhns, Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Louis Vierne, Edward Elgar, Jean Langlais, Dan Locklair and Maurice Durufle.
