Event Description

An Evening With WISHBONE ASH, featuring ARGUS Live! Tuesday, March 19 at Venue Nightclub in Vancouver. Wishbone's third album, "Argus" (1972), was named The Best British Album of the Year by Melody Maker. Now, for this very special engagement, An Evening With WISHBONE ASH, featuring ARGUS Live!, you will hear every track of this powerhouse album live and up close. The constant of WISHBONE ASH has been the signature twin lead guitar sound, always with ANDY POWELL and his V shaped guitar. BOB SKEAT has a fifteen year tenure as the bass player. MUDDY MANNINEN on guitar is now nine years with the band and JOE CRABTREE has been drummer since 2007. By the end of this year, this third classic lineup will have run longer than the original lineups. Now in the sixth year of this formation, they have played 100 or more shows per year. In 2013 they have already had 40 shows in Europe and America before their Vancouver gig. This is a full time legacy rock band out on the road pleasing old fans and making new ones, year after year after year. WISHBONE ASH continue to receive accolades with website Classic Rock Revisited placing the recent Elegant Stealth album at #8 for 2011.
