Event Description
An evening of classical Tabla solo with one of today's finest Tabla players, Pandit Yogesh Samsi. A premier disciple of the legendary Ustad Allarakha Khan Saheb, Yogesh Ji has shared the stage with Ustad Allarakha, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Vilayat Khan, Pandit Dinkar Kaikini, Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and many others. This is an extremely rare opportunity to see this calibre of soloist perform a traditional solo outside of India. Yogesh Ji will be accompanied by Sri Tanmay Deochake on Harmonium, a fine young musician from Pune with a stellar reputation for Tabla solo accompaniment.
