Theatre SKAM’s annual birthday celebrations are known as one of the most madcap fundraising parties in town. Victoria alt-rock favourite Mike Demers returns with the Weekend Millionaires and some excellent retro 80’s tunes – guaranteeing a raucous dance floor! What makes SKAM Birthday Bashes so much fun are the crazy party games that take you on a wild ride through SKAM’s greatest hits. Bring that jar of Loonies you’ve been hoarding to play. Located at the gorgeous heritage Odd Fellows Hall, you can dance, play and sink an eight ball in one night. (Yup, there’s a pool hall.) Ante up for the for the SKAMraffle and you could be the lucky ticket holder to go home with this extravaganza of arts, entertainment and local business goodies to keep you busy all year long. Supporting independent theatre and winning the SKAMraffle – totally worth the extra 50 bucks!
Known for Bike Ride, its annual outdoor family theatre event along the Galloping Goose Trail, Theatre SKAM is one of Victoria’s longest existing alternative theatre companies develops, that produces and tours innovative theatre, and supports local emerging artists.
