Event Description

This will be a unique concert featuring the music of local composers, in a tribute to our natural environment and the organizations working to protect it. Each piece performed will be dedicated to a local environmental group.

The venue is also unique, it will be in the nature house at the Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary

It features music by Sylvia Rickard, Leila Lustig, Diane Berry, Josh Layne, and Lynne Penhale for a variety of chamber ensembles.

With a variety of performers, the special guests are the St. Mary's Children's Choir

This concert is being co-sponsored by the Association of Canadian Women Composers and the Socan Foundation.
