Event Description

Which music would Bach, his family, and friends have performed on summer afternoons at the famous Zimmermann's Coffeehouse in Leipzig? For the first concert of their 2014-2015 season, the PBO presents pieces that likely were part of these events: Bach's own Brandenburg 5, a spectacular flute concerto by František Benda, one of Telemann's sublime Paris quartets, and an orchestral overture (BWV 1070) - a rarely performed little gem.
