"The Din are (Submission Hold) without their vocalist,
an improv side project which I was really excited
about after having seen them a couple of times about a
year or 2 ago at the Sugar Refinery. Some really sweet
moments in there. Powerful, delicate, rhythmic
throughout, great ebbs and flows. Still one of my
favorite Vancouver projects, it turns out."
livemusicvancouver.com

"Italian-born, now Vancouver-based,
composer/electronics whiz Giorgio Magnanensi has
quickly become a valued member of our local music
scene as both a musician and a conductor.
Collaborating with Vancouver artists like the Eye Of
Newt Collective, Ron Samworth, Franois Houle and
others, Magnanensi has received numerous European
awards for composition and has served as conductor for
a number of esteemed new music ensembles around the
world." coastaljazz.ca
