Event Description

A weekend of Beethoven, featuring his Five Piano Concertos and the Fantasy for Piano, Chorus and Orchestra (Choral Fantasy).

The Friday concert will feature Beethoven's first, third, and fifth Piano Concertos, with Conductor Norman Nelson. Saturday night, the second and fourth concertos and the Choral Fantasy will be performed under the baton of Stephen Brown. The Saturday afternoon concert will be a short chamber performance.

A selection of senior piano students from the Victoria Conservatory of Music will share the soloists' spotlight for this special event. The Choral Fantasy will also feature soloists from the Conservatory's Voice Department and the Conservatory Chorus.

Tickets
Weekend Festival Pass $20 general / $18 students and seniors for admission to all three concerts.

Single Concert Tickets:
$12.50 general / $10 students and seniors for evening concerts.
$5 for Saturday afternoon concert.

Available at A&B Sound, Munro's Books, Ward Music (Long & McQuade), the Conservatory, and the door.

A special Schools' concert takes place Thursday, March 14, at 1:30 pm
