The four bands that got you to Uvic's Campus pub for the 2018 Battle of the Bands Finals emerge from the summer sunshine with sweat on their brow to bring you another night of dancing, drinking and music.

Author with Sunburn (~9:00 ~ 9:30)

Author With Sunburn is a Victoria-based band that will get your feet tapping to their driving rhythm. Each member of the quartet brings their own unique style into creating music that blends alternative, funk, surf rock and more. With a few of your favorite covers sprinkled throughout, AWS will get you dancing, singing and more importantly having a good time.

Consisting of members Chris Banks (from Port Alberni), Collin Massie, Aaron Thurlborn-Hansen and Matt X (from Campbell River), this YYJ-dwelling band creates original music with roots in rock, funk and a sprinkle of jazz

Three parts Filthy one part Casual. They're Influenced by the blues and classic rock, Queens of the Stone Age, Black Sabbath and indie bands you've probably never heard of. Better put the ice-pack in the freezer now cause your neck sure to be sore in the morning.

Alternative rock band hailing from Victoria B.C.
Featuring the talent of Patricia Garner, Jess Gibbard, Matthew Groeneveld and Jordan Oliver and Brett Rose.
