Event Description

We are thrilled to announce the SUNDAY SOCIAL Concert Series taking place at Knox the third Sunday of each month from September 2019 to April 2020.

Created in partnership with Early Music Vancouver (EMV) and the UBC School of Music (SOM), the series features some of Canada’s best musicians and vocalists performing gorgeous Baroque and Classical works in our beautiful, historic building. Though the concerts on this series will lean mostly towards the earlier music genres and instruments, some concerts will be with traditional modern classical instruments and repertoire.

Knox is centrally located at 5600 Balaclava Street on Vancouver’s west side with plenty of free parking.

All concerts are on Sunday afternoons at 2 pm, with admission by donation – $20 is suggested. There is a pre-concert chat with the musicians at 1:45 pm and Knox is hosting a complimentary "Social Bar" after each concert. Each Social Bar will feature a themed snack bar for patrons to enjoy as they socialize and mingle with the musicians.
