During this time of remembrance, embark on a heartful journey with RIDGE, as Brendan McLeod and The Fugitives breathe new life into the poignant music written by the entrenched Canadian soldiers who served on the frontlines of the Battle of Vimy Ridge.
Based on writings by WWI soldiers, The Fugitives perform their JUNO-nominated album Trench Songs to accompany the WWI storytelling and the thought-provoking narrative spoken-word artist Brendan McLeod provides.
RIDGE is a vivid, kinetic ride through history, as well as an intimate, personal examination of our connection to the past that passionately argues against the exploitation of young lives.
