Belladonna returns to The Open Studios and we couldn't be more excited!

"Malakai is an emerging genre-blending folk artist from Vancouver Island. He sings with a soul surprising in one so young, performing since the age of 7, at 17-years-old Malakai is already a seasoned musician. Celebrated for his use of alternate tunings and unique chord progressions, his songs feel intimate yet expansive. Malakai’s songwriting weaves heartfelt melancholy with warmth and honesty. Alongside original material, he performs thoughtfully re-imagined covers, turning each song into his own. Onstage, Malakai’s natural charisma and engaging banter create a striking contrast to the emotional depth of his music, making his live performances very memorable."
