Curtis Chaffey is a Canadian guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder of The Split, a powerhouse soul and blues outfit out of Ottawa. Alongside his brother Matthew Chaffey. He is also well know in these parts as the famous guitarist for Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar! Catch him playing as a duo with Matthew on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 5-8pm!
Curtis has spent years shaping a sound rooted in 60s soul, blues, and funk, blending vintage groove with a modern edge. Originally performing together in their earlier project, the Brothers Chaffey, the duo evolved into The Split in 2011, sharpening their focus on rhythm-driven, horn-infused soul music. Now, they perform as Curtis & Matthew Chaffey Soul Revue!
