THE WININ' BOYS:

The Winin' Boys, (from Jellyroll Morton's "Winin’ Boy Blues”) play an eclectic combination of authentic New Orleans Jazz, Blues and New Orleans Rhythm and Blues. Their charismatic stage presence, vocals and musicianship offer a lively fun-filled evening that is guaranteed to create instant authentic atmosphere in any venue.

Bruce Gerrish- Vocals & Guitar
A superb vocalist, guitarist and songwriter,
Bruce was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he began singing and playing music
at the age of twelve. He took his talents to New Orleans at age 19 where family friends
ran the world famous Preservation Jazz Hall. Soon he immersed himself in the region's
rich musical tapestry, learning how to play everything from New Orleans Jazz
and R&B to Cajun and Blues.

Dave Quinn- Clarinet & Sax, Vocals

Dave Quinn has a hot smooth swingin’ style that engages audiences and often inspires them to dance and sing along. Well rounded in traditional jazz, blues and classical styles, Dave has been actively performing R&B, Swing & Traditional Jazz. in and around Vancouver since 1979.

Sam Shoicet- Upright Bass & Vocals
Sam has been playing upright and electric bass professionally for 18 years with a diverse assortment of some of the West Coast's premiere groups in a variety of musical styles including jazz with Michael Kaeshammer; and blues, rockabilly and country swing with Brandon Isaak, the Twisters, Ray Condo and the Ricochets, and many more.
