Saanich Penninsula Arts & Crafts Society

SPAC is into its 64th year in Sidney. Membership is open to any artist or artisan living on the Peninsula and that includes Victoria to the Malahat and the Gulf Islands. The society encourages arts and crafts by providing: 1. Meetings monthly at the Mary Winspear Cultural Centre on Beacon Avenue in Sidney (see: www.spacsociety.com)
2. A monthly newsletter to members
3. Mini workshops with member artist instructors
4. Three to four day workshops with top Canadian and American instructors
5. Member scholarships
6. a yearly art show
This year's art show will be held April 28 (10 am - 6 pm) to April 30 (10 am to 4:30 pm), 2012 at the Mary Winspear Centre. Patrons are welcome to preview the show on April 29 by pledging $125 with $100 going towards the purchase of art. Enquiries may be directed to the address below.
