Event Description

Souvenir Gallery is pleased to present Toronto-based artist Melissa Fisher's first solo exhibition.

BE BE PRESENT (an immersive site-specific installation) will be Fisher's largest and most elaborate project to date. The work arranges digital imagery on fabric and paper (produced using documentation photos of installations and sculptures), collage, found objects, sculptures and thread based off of and within the architectural details and framework of Souvenir Gallery's space.

nerous support of the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts.

This will be Souvenir Gallery’s sixth and final exhibition at 120-560 Johnson St.

Originally opened for the summer with full funding from the Greater Victoria Spirit Committee, the gallery has remained open through autumn with the assistance of Market Square and the dedication of it's volunteers.
