Event Description
Join us for a vibrant Fabric Swap event in Victoria, BC on June 16th. Fabric artists & sewing enthusiasts unite to exchange and discover a wide range of quality fabrics. Simply drop off up to 10 fabric donations at SUPPLY, labeled with size and fabric type. Each donation earns you a ticket to the Fabric Swap. Register for a 30-minute slot to select fabric items based on your tickets. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with the local fabric-loving community and find new treasures for your projects!
Here's how you can participate:
1️⃣ Drop off up to 10 fabric donations at SUPPLY during their opening hours: Thursday-Saturday from 11am-6pm or on donation nights on Tuesdays from 6-8pm. Donations will be accepted until Saturday, June 10th.
2️⃣ Remember, each donation should be a minimum of 1 meter in length, preferably made of natural fibers, and in usable condition (no stains or smells). Please label each item with its size, fabric type, and any relevant notes.
3️⃣ For each item donated, you'll receive one ticket. These tickets will be your key to the fabric swap!
4️⃣ Purchase your entry fee for the Fabric Swap event on Friday, June 16th. Entry fees are available on a sliding scale of $5-$25, and you can find the purchase link in our bio.
5️⃣ During the event, there will be three 30-minute slots. You can choose fabric items based on the number of tickets you received from your donations. Remember, tickets are non-transferable, so please don't share them with others. Alternatively, you can also purchase fabric items if you prefer.
6️⃣ After selecting your fabrics, proceed to the cashier to check out. We're also excited to let you know that SUPPLY will be open for purchases of notions like buttons, zippers, and thread, so you can complete your sewing projects in one go!
7️⃣ To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please make sure to move swiftly out of the space after your turn, allowing others to enjoy the fabric swap as well. This will also give us time to prepare the space for the next round of swappers.
