Event Description

70+ original Needlepoint and Acrylic Folk Art pieces by local disabled 'Outsider Artist', Aviv Talya Dekel; displayed at the Spiral Cafe....418 Craigflower, Vic West, for the month of October 2020.
Also included are framed 8x10" prints, greeting cards, Xmas cards and magnets with photos of works. Prices for originals from $15 to $150, cards/magnets $4 or 3 for $10. Check out Aviv's website: avivshappycrafts.vistaprintdigital.com. Aviv is a member of Victoria Arts Council and she has shown and sold at Artsea Gallery, Coast Collective and VAC Shows. The City of Victoria displayed 3 of her works downtown on giant Bus Shelter Posters for a year. She is 23 yrs old with Down Syndrome, diabetes type 1 and an unknown bone disease affecting her right side that required her wrist to be fused. Aviv has a Colourful and Happy approach to life and a desire to help others to feel happy through her Art.
